PrestaShop bug fixing
500 errors, white screens, broken checkout or cart issues — diagnosed and fixed at the root.
A PrestaShop error rarely comes alone: a white page after an update, a checkout that stops halfway, or a back-office that suddenly refuses to save. Every hour it lasts costs orders and trust.
We look for the real cause instead of hiding the symptom. That means reading the PHP and PrestaShop logs, checking overrides and module hooks, and reproducing the problem on a copy of your store before we change anything.
Do you recognise this?
Typical signs that you need help:
-
500 Internal Server Error or a white screen on the front office or back-office
-
Checkout, cart or payment step that fails or loops
-
Errors after installing or updating a module or theme
-
Products, categories or orders that cannot be saved
-
Emails that are no longer sent, or cron jobs that stopped
-
Debug messages such as "Call to undefined method" or "Class not found"
How we solve it
We switch on debug mode in a safe way, read the logs and trace the error to the file, module or override that causes it. Then we fix it at the source: a code correction, a compatible module version, a cleaned-up override or a configuration change.
Where possible the fix is made so that it survives future updates, and we tell you if a module is the weak spot so you can decide what to do with it.
What's included
- Analysis of PHP, server and PrestaShop logs
- Reproducing the error on a copy of your store
- Fixing the cause in code, module or configuration
- Checking overrides and module conflicts
- Testing the affected flows (product page, cart, checkout)
- A short report of the cause and the fix
What to expect
From your first message to a tested fix in your live store: every step is clear, and nothing changes in your store before you have approved the quote.
- 01
You describe the situation
Send your store URL, PrestaShop version and what you see: error messages, screenshots, when it started and what changed recently. The more context, the faster we can narrow it down.
- 02
We diagnose first
A developer reads your logs and, if needed, works on a staging copy to find the exact file, module or setting behind the error.
- 03
You get a fixed quote
You receive a short explanation of the cause, the proposed solution and a fixed price. Nothing is changed in your store until you approve it.
- 04
We do the work on a copy
The fix is applied and tested on a staging copy first, including the checkout and the pages around the error.
- 05
Go live and report
After a backup we deploy the change to your live store, check the important flows again and send a short report of what was done and what to watch.
- 06
Questions afterwards
Have a question about the report, or do you notice something after going live? Just reply. We look into it and tell you what it is and what it takes.
Frequently asked questions
Do you need access to my store?
Usually yes: back-office access and FTP/SFTP or hosting access. Never send passwords in a ticket or the contact form; we ask for access in a secure way after the quote is approved.
What if the error is caused by a third-party module?
We tell you which module is responsible and what the options are: a fix in the module, an update from the developer, an override or a replacement.
Can you fix errors on PrestaShop 1.6?
Yes, we also work on older versions. If a fix is no longer sensible on an old version, we explain why and what the alternatives are.
What does a bug fix cost?
You receive a fixed quote after the diagnosis, so you know the price before any work starts.
