Upgrade your PrestaShop module to 9.2.0

Your shop is moving to PrestaShop 9.2.0, but one of your modules was built for PrestaShop 1.6, 1.7 or 8 and no longer works. Upload the module in your account: we make it compatible with PrestaShop 9.2.0 without changing what it does or how it looks, and a developer checks the result. Right after the upload you see a price and pay in advance; we start after the payment. If we cannot get the module working after all, you get your money back.

  • PrestaShop 1.6
  • PrestaShop 1.7
  • PrestaShop 8
  • PrestaShop 9.2.0

How a module upgrade works

Four steps: first the price, then the upgrade.

  1. 01

    Upload your module

Upload the zip in your customer account, optionally with your PrestaShop and PHP version and notes for the developer.

  2. 02

    See the price and pay

Within a few minutes we measure your module and show the price. You pay in advance; then we start.

  3. 03

    We upgrade it

The code is brought up to date for PrestaShop 9.2.0 and tested in a clean test shop.

  4. 04

    Check and download

A developer reviews the changes and the test results, also in the official PrestaShop Validator. After approval you download the module in your account.

What happens to your module

  1. Inspection. We check the zip: one module, a valid main file and no unsafe paths. Modules that already declare support for PrestaShop 9.2.0 are refused, because they need no upgrade.
  2. Price. We measure the size of the module and the problems it has on PrestaShop 9.2.0, and show you the price. You pay in advance; then we start.
  3. Upgrade. Removed and changed PrestaShop and PHP functions are replaced by their current equivalents. Features, settings and appearance stay the same.
  4. Static checks. The code is checked for syntax errors and type errors.
  5. Test shop. The module is installed, configured, shown in the front office and uninstalled again in a clean PrestaShop 9.2.0 shop.
  6. Developer check. A developer reviews every change and runs the module through the official PrestaShop Validator.
  7. Download. You receive an email and download the new version right away, with a list of what we changed.

Which modules we upgrade

  • Built for an older PrestaShop. Modules made for PrestaShop 1.6, 1.7 or 8 that do not work on PrestaShop 9.2.0.
  • No longer maintained. Modules whose developer no longer releases updates, or that are no longer for sale.
  • Your own modules. Custom modules that were built for your shop.
  • You may use it. You have a valid licence for the module and the right to have it changed.
  • Readable code. The source code is not encrypted or obfuscated.
  • One module per zip. A zip of at most 50 MB with one module folder.

What we do not upgrade

  • Still maintained on PrestaShop Addons. Is the module still sold or updated on PrestaShop Addons? Then get the update there.
  • Still maintained by the developer. Does the developer still offer updates in their own store? Then ask them for the PrestaShop 9.2.0 version.
  • Encrypted code. Modules with encrypted or obfuscated code, such as ionCube, cannot be changed.
  • Licence checks. We never remove or bypass licence checks or protection.
  • Already compatible. Modules that already declare support for PrestaShop 9.2.0 are refused automatically.
  • New features or design. The upgrade keeps what the module does. Extra features or changes are custom work with a separate quote.

What does a module upgrade cost?

For a module that works on PrestaShop 9.2.0 the price is between €35 and €195 excl. VAT; a module validated by the PrestaShop Validator or custom work costs more. The price is calculated from the size of the module and the problems we find, and you see it right after the upload.

Lower price Higher price
Size of the module A few files Many files and lines of code
Problems found Few compatibility problems Many outdated functions
Installs on PrestaShop 9.2.0 Yes Not yet

You pay in advance and we start after the payment. If we cannot get the module working after all, you get your money back.
