Privacy policy

Last updated: 23 October 2026

This privacy policy explains which personal data we process when you use our website or are a customer, why we do so and what rights you have.

Who we are

Presta Support is a trade name of MARK-APP, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 34232861, VAT number NL002076600B51, located at Kennemerlandrecht 35, 1943NN Beverwijk Nederland. Email: info@presta.support.

We are the controller for the personal data described in this policy. Questions about privacy can be sent to info@presta.support.

What data we process and why

Contact form and quote requests. Your name, email address, the URL of your store, your PrestaShop version and your description of the problem. We use this data to answer your request and send you a quote (legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract).

Customer account. Your name, email address, password (stored encrypted), company details such as company name, address and VAT number, and your language preference. Needed to give you access to your tickets, orders and invoices (legal basis: performance of the contract).

Orders, payments and invoices. Your company and billing details, the services ordered and the payment status. We need this data to carry out and invoice your order, and we are legally required to keep our accounting records (legal basis: performance of the contract and legal obligation). For business customers in the EU we check the VAT number through the European Commission's VIES system.

Tickets and attachments. The messages and files you add to a ticket, and the time we spend on your request. Needed to carry out your support requests (legal basis: performance of the contract). Never send passwords in a ticket; we ask for access in a secure way.

Access to your store. If you give us access to your store or hosting after approving a quote, we may come across personal data of your customers. We only process that data to carry out the job and on your instructions; in that role you are the controller and we are the processor.

Email. Your email address and the content of our correspondence, to keep you informed about your request, ticket or order.

Cookies and statistics

  • Necessary cookies. A session cookie and a security cookie (against forged forms) keep the website and your account working. We store your cookie choice in a cookie so we do not have to ask again.
  • Our own visit statistics. We count page views without identifying anyone: we do not store IP addresses, only a code that is created anew every day and cannot be traced back afterwards.
  • Google Analytics 4. Only if you consent to statistics cookies. We use it to see how the website is used, with IP anonymisation.
  • Microsoft Clarity. Only if you consent to statistics cookies. Clarity shows us how visitors use the website, with heatmaps and session recordings, so we can improve it. Text typed into form fields is masked.
  • Marketing cookies. Only with your consent.

You can change your choice at any time through "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.

Protection against spam

Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA to prevent abuse by bots. This sends technical data about your device and use to Google. We do this based on our legitimate interest in a secure website.

Who processes your data

We do not sell your data. We only share it with parties that help us deliver the service:

  • Hosting: our website and database run at a hosting provider within the European Union.
  • MultiSafepay: processes online payments.
  • PayPal: processes online payments when you pay with PayPal.
  • Google: for reCAPTCHA and, with your consent, Google Analytics. Data may be transferred to the United States; Google participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
  • Microsoft: with your consent, for Microsoft Clarity. Data may be transferred to the United States; Microsoft participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

We make agreements with parties that process personal data on our behalf to protect your data.

How long we keep data

  • Contact requests that do not lead to an assignment: no longer than needed to handle your question.
  • Account details and tickets: for as long as you have an account. You can have your account deleted.
  • Invoices and related accounting records: seven years, as required by law.

Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including an encrypted connection (HTTPS), encrypted passwords, limited staff access and logging of important actions in the back-office.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict processing, to object and to data portability. You can withdraw consent you have given at any time. Send your request to info@presta.support; we respond within one month.

If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or the supervisory authority in your country.

We may update this privacy policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
